flipping ek.
Would you believe that i also built my holiday flights around using the A380 with the 7 hour stop over and after reading your Post, I thought i would check my flights...
I fly out of Man on the 19th sept and return from BKK on the 1st Oct...
All going well at checking flights and then i noticed the the BKK to Dub was a old 777 which i was used on last time i made a Visit to BKK and the seating was not at its best.
I was gutted not to be on the A380 but due to the unrest and lack of passengers, the aircraft was changed.
Now then, I decided to check the return flight for the 30th September, Guess what, the A380 is in service, So i guess it must be the last flight for the A380 for that sector... More gutted.
My Options.
1. stick with the Bkk to Dub on the 777
2. Catch the next flight which will be the 777ER
3. Travel a day earlier and Catch the final A380 and plan a 24 hour stop over in Dubai so (2 night stay) and also run the risk of the 30th Septembers A380 flight taken out of service...
4. Book middle seat on the last row and hope to get the row to myself...
Not a happy bloke even though, i have been on the A380 a few time and so far i have 3 flights out of 4 on the A380... (I think i will try and book a later flight from Bkk to Dub.
I feel sorry for the OP, I know what the feeling is like, But even worse standing at the check in to be told that the A380 has been taken out of service and offered crap seats...
I have checked Manage my booking and they have already dumped me on the 777....

all ideas are welcome
