I stayed in a very nice CY downtown SFO before I was gold and knew much about the lounge access. But I'll throw out a CY in a real small town in the middle of CA. We had out wedding blocked out at the Paso Robles CA CY. Full bar which they held open after the wedding ended at 11 pm (until 2am, normally closed at 11 pm). I think MrpAlert could tell you this hotel was pretty nice. I ended up with the King Suite in the corner which is basically 2 rooms instead of 1 for $99/night as the Groom to be.
I had an awesome time in Paso Robles and was treated like royalty as a guest of the wedding party. Location was fantastic and staff were top notch. My double room was well maintained, but what I remember most about this property was the positive attitude of the staff.
Another property that comes to mind is the
St. George, Utah CY. Easily the best hotel in SGU. Amazing staff, nice rooms, and a central location by the freeway. Staff truly appreciated their frequent guests in addition to respecting standard Marriott elite benefits.
