Yes, that's the cable. Used by SQ, UA, LX, CO and other nice carriers.

SQ will have it on board, though sometimes they don't know where it is. In typical singapore fashion, they won't admit they they won't know where it is.

If the stewardess comes back with "they don't have it" - ask them to look in the business class galley, its there. (on the 77W). I am not sure where it is stowed on the A340-500 but it is hard to imagine that SQ won't have it on board for you to use.

You can bring it with you, but when flying SQ I never bother bringing cables. They have everything, including empower adapters, back in the day when that was used. It's still carried on board airplanes that use empower.

The stewardess will come and collect it right after landing or slightly before.
