I have reached 2MM status (BIS miles) on a US (USAIR) carrier and all I got for my effort was a letter not suitable for framing (I did file it away for safe keeping anyway). I am now at their lowest tier level (Silver) but my card does say 2MM FLYER (spelled like that) on it.
My travel plans have changed and I go from Newark to Singapore 2x per month on SQ, maybe I will have to look into using AC. If this recognition program is permanent I would reach that level in less than 3 years (@40k per month *12 months - @480K per year).
Keep flying and Air Canada Excellent job.^
I do have *G status from SQ not that it matters much since I am PPS on SQ but every little bit helps.
FYI - only AC flights count towards MM....the furthest you could fly AC to SIN is either HKG/Japan/China or somewhere in europe.... have to say, having known some PPS Solitare people with over 10 years of membership they really dont offer much (except real nice presents - including a wine fridge).
