So I am a newbie on the forums, but not a new traveler - Marriott Plat for last 5 years, etc.. sorry to hijack this thread and go off topic, but I want to make sure I contribute properly in the future and only suggest things I should be suggesting...

That said, isnt the point (or one of the points) of this forum to help people get deals and better rates by any means, including rates that all they have to do is ask for, even if they don't qualify... isn't that why there is a big list of corporate rate codes published someplace in another forum I saw here? (I'm not being sarcastic, just trying to figure out if you were serious that people shouldn't be out there asking for better rates and using corp codes and if I should stop directing people to do so)
