The whole of the North Terminal is undergoing major refurbishment and the area which used to take you to domestic arrivals has been knocked down in order to make way for the new Zone A which is being built to be added on to the current Zone A.

Apparently BA will be moving to the new Zone A when completed but I've seen nothing in writing confirming this as yet.

There's also rumour that EZY may bring over some of their domestic routes and these will occupy the current domestic area which BA use. Whether this is true I can't say, though EZY seem to be creeping in ever further these days!

stut - I'm sorry your bags took so long to come up. This is very unusual for LGW where most of our bags start arriving on belts within 15 minutes of landing. Perhaps it could be that the driver bringing them was asked to wait if supplies were being delivered to the building site.
