Yes - and you can always spot the first-timers who make the school boy mistake of not taking the stairs! If you're not paying attention, the ramp may appear the natural route... but when you're still going round in circles ten minutes later, you'll regret it!
I did that only once - and there's a similar trap at the South terminal which also caught me the first time
