And I see Etihad have started to introduce them as well.
It's not just that the seats are narrower. It's also that the armrests are thinner to accommodate the narrower seats. I'm fairly skinny so it's not the seat width that bothers me, but that fact that I would need to fight with the pax next to me for the armrest space. No thanks.
Also, AA 777s are 9-abreast in Y while some AF 777s are 10-abreast. I've been on both, and let me tell you that I would MUCH rather be on the AA plane.
