When I was silver I was flying a lot DCA-TPA-DCA. I was upgraded every single time. I would fly DCA to TPA on Sundays 7pm and return on Fridays at 10:40am flight. Never missed the upgrade. Earlier this year when I was still plat I've missed 2 out of 4 DCA-PHX upgrades, but was always upgraded PHX-DCA.
