Congrats on the pending addition. What routes are you usually flying? It really depends on the route for determining if Silver makes the cut. My SO is silver and although she's usually fine when traveling with me as CP, her independent travel (usually east coast FLL-DCA-LGA-BOS) is generally upgraded since she goes midday in midweek or on weekends.

One cautionary note - with the Hop/Skip/Jump promo, there will be a whole lot more Gold, Plat and CP eating up that availability before it gets to Silver.
