Unofficially... last year, I earned points for my parents' stay in Vermont while I was in Hawaii. I had made the reservation for them on my computer (with my MR number automatically attached), but had put their names' on the reservation. Points and nights - as well as the corresponding Megabonus - duly posted to my account...
