i'm leaving for china on saturday, so hopefully i'll have some news when i get back and check out my bill. the add-on is for e-mail only, and from what i read above, it looks like they now can distinguish between e-mail usage and normal data usage. there's always been a data usage charge (so to tmobile it's NO CHANGE), but now they can tell how you're using the data, so now you'll be charge for data using their data rate, and not be charged for e-mail (under the add-on). i think that's how i read it.
