I would also agree with Chiangi san. Until CX introduces new sliding flat bed style J seats to JFK, why bother taking CX via HKG to Japan? JL's new J seats that recline 170 degrees on a sliding flatbed is quite agreeable. But do make sure you take JL 005/006 that are equipped with new J seats.
