I don't have too many VS miles in my account, and what little I do have expires in a few months. My brother's account is in the same state. And since he doesn't care much what happens to his miles (there ought to be a law against such indifference!), I decided to help myself to his miles.

Does anyone know if there is a way to use miles from more than one account to make a redemption booking? I did do a search, but that didn't result in anything substantial. VS' website isn't too clear on the topic either.

It doesn't really matter how to go about doing it (merge the accounts, link them, transfer the miles etc). I'm just wondering if it is indeed possible.

For what its worth, we do have the same last name, and the same address (we always use our parents' address, since they've been at the same place for 30+ years, while the two of us could easily qualify as vagrants).

Oh, and bizarrely, he's Silver, while I have no status, though we flew the same flights and have identical account activity!
