When I flew out of BLI last week, the majority of passengers had Canadian passports.

Like others have said, BLI is arguably more convenient than SEA for those living in Everett and points further north. Even with a connection in SEA, the cheaper parking or shuttle bus, shorter security lines, and scenic flight to SEA, not to mention the extra 500 AS miles, make flying out of BLI an attractive proposition. For those who don't like flying out of large airports, the nonstop flights from BLI are great.
