Yup. They also own a lot more widebody aircraft than CO does (87 v 48 for the 76/77 alone, plus UA has the 74s). CO serves many more destinations in Europe from EWR than UA does from IAD.
CO puts planes on the route that meet the operational needs and get passengers and cargo there and back. It works pretty well, actually.
