The announcement was in SEA. I did also notice the DL GA's announcing when MVPG and MVP passengers could board, but knowing that many people connect from AS/QX to DL in SEA and that AA also announces boarding for AS elites in SEA, this would be expected.

Admittedly, I haven't yet had an AS-issued boarding pass for a DL flight as I get "internal DL system errors" that only allow DL to issue my boarding pass(es) at the connecting airport, not SEA. Connecting from DL to AS has not been a problem.
