I ate there last night. My wife and I were married in Grand Central on 8/14/99 and had our wedding dinner at MJ's. We went back to the big city to celebrate for our 11th anniversary.
My strip steak was excellent, the service the same, and the place was almost empty -- on a Saturday night.
I don't know how the place stays in business.
It's still on Amex's fine dining list and I called Amex concierge to make the res -- but now realize we could have just walked in anytime without a problem, so that was kind of silly.
We've been there a few times over the past 11 years and I will say that during the Summer, it can get uncomfortably warm.
