Is it just me, or is there something all a bit Orwellian about banning such words? I mean, if Osama bin laden or whoever, got stopped at security, I bet the last thing he would do is make light of the situation. I find the whole security process quite ridiculous, mainly because of the attitude of the agents there. I'm not saying that people SHOULD say something like "uh oh, that'll be the steak knives concealed in my..." or whatever if the detectors beep, but to BAN it is too much IMHO. I wouldn't make such jokes because I think there is a time/place for joking and security probably isn't the place. BUT context is everything- I just think we all take ourselves just a little too seriously sometimes.
