UK laws on forbidden words in airports

Hi all,
A few days ago I was flying BA from LCY-AMS. Whilst collecting my hand luggage at the security scanners, the idiot behind me in the queue asked the security officer (when she wanted to look in his bag), "What are you looking for? A gun or a bomb?"

When the officer told him not to use those words in an airport, he started getting all obnoxious and repeatedly refused to listen to the officer. He then said there is no law against him saying that. I wanted to tell him to stop being such a ****** and that there was a law against it (as I thought I had read something about certain words not being allowed to be mentioned in airports or train stations) but then was not sure how accurate that was.

Does anyone know the legal side of this argument?
