Issued a M+C award ticket last week.. first time, agent said card won't go through. I said it's impossible as I had just paid the bill recently and I know that GBP350 would certainly go through. She tried again, and said.. ok, I see the problem. Its fine now. That I hear some typing and clicks.. and she was sighing at one point.

So I thought, ok, that's fine.. ticket is issued.

Today I find out that ICC had authorised the card for the same amount of GBP 350 FOUR times. Now those amounts are on hold till next week. My bank said that they can't do anything till the authorisation drops off.

So my cc has about GBP 1400 less to use now.
