Am just finishing a weekend stay at the aLoft here in Lexington. This is a decent, quiet location that is not too far from Boston and has nearby shopping and restaurants all within driving distance.

The property continues to present with a somewhat young vibe, but there were guests of all ages, and everyone is treated equally. The hallways for the guest rooms were not filled with noise, so it's quiet enough to actually sleep.

I enjoy the high ceilings and find there are plenty of storage cubby areas, but did notice that the closet is arranged so that clothing is hung from front to back, rather than sideways, so will fit less clothing I think.

The carpeting has a few stains, so is showing age, and I noticed that there is not a handy rack to keep the towel within easy reach of the shower. The rain showerhead was a bit light on pressure. Aside from these minor issues, I find the bed reasonably comfortable (if not a bit firm) and the room has a spacious feel.

Front desk staff have been uniformly helpful and internet access is quite speedy. There are plenty of snacks and beverages to choose from and I was impressed at the sheer variety for such a small setup.

This is my first aLoft stay and has been very enjoyable. If you want a traditional hotel room with room service and plenty of staff, this will disappoint. I found my stay quite enjoyable and recommend this property for those coming to this area.
