[1] Be careful buying online. Many unauthorized online dealers will source their watches from authorized dealers who will remove the serial numbers from the watch so that it cannot be traced back to the original dealer. This is much more serious than simply not getting the warranty cert as neither Blancpain nor any other Swiss brand will service or provide parts for a watch that has had the serial number removed.
[2] Blancpain is one of the "30% off brands", a brand where ~30% off of MSRP can be found easily from authorized dealers.
With an MSRP of $10,500 you should have no problem finding a ref. 6263-1127A-55 from an authorized dealer in $7K -$7.5K, you just have to ask firmly with a polite, I know this is standard practice attitude.
Exactly. I ended up getting a Jaeger instead but I had a first offer for about 25% off from an authorized dealer when I was shopping for Blancpain in NYC. You might not be able to get quite as low as on online place but you can get pretty close. I had an authorized Jaeger dealer match an online price. It is pretty common once you convince them that you know that if they dont do it, other authorized dealers will.
