I use a kindle and it is aggravating to me to shut my stuff down only to sit and wait 10 mins or so while others continue using their devices and then wait even more once the door is shut before we even push back. Being frustrated though still does not stop me from complying at the first request, both when departing and on the starting to descend at the termination of the flight.
