Oh my god...3 hr delay last night without a single "update" from the GA's, who disappeared for 15 mins every 15 mins or so!

First, late inbound a/c, then line up to board, wait - no captain. Lots of elderly pax unhappy and confused(monitors not updated). Why not make a simple announcement?

What an embarrasment...ashamed this was even in the US...
