Are FAs specially trained and dedicated to the purser position? I always thought on DL the OBL was just assigned based on seniority/bidding within a crew at the beginning of the trip, so I was surprised to see the "purser" on my flight had special wings.
Minor and irrelevant, I know, but I'm just curious.
at NWA the Pursers did receive additional training but not every flight had a purser but they did increase their ranks during the bankruptcy
