After reading the pizza-thread I was wondering if other people than us buy drinks (beer, soft-drinks) from outside and put them in the hotel minibar and/or bring champagne and other favorite drinks from the taxfree to enjoy in the hotel room (not poolside or in public areas, of course) during the stay instead of ordering (expensive) drinks from room service or consuming from the minibar. We often do this during a longer stay at a resort as it irritates me to pay like €5 for a diet coke when I can have it for 1/10th from the nearby supermarked, even if this is peanuts compared to what I have paid for the hotel room. What about you?
