kayak unlike other online travel sites gets it's revenue on a pay per click deal. Basically it's an advertising site that looks much like other online travel sites.
Stay with AirTran.com. As we heard sometime ago, should you seek some kind of credit for a lower fare, AirTran will not do anything if your fare was purchased at a third party site.
