It may just be pure coincidence but SFO does seem to be more attractive to the Prima Donna-style traveller. On my last two trips through SFO, I've waited at check-in behind Mr Angry, who had 'requested' an upgrade CW-F and was irritated that he hadn't got one as there were plenty of F seats available and "he was a new GCH!" - never seen that as a benefit on the website. He refused to move until a Manager was brought to him to explain this unacceptable situation. T-----.

The following week we had Mr Self-important, who wanted the boarding delayed as he had "an important call to make" and didn't BA appreciate the needs of their premium passengers.

However, all these actions pale into insignificance when you compare it to the attitude of the average LH HON Circle Frankfurt Banker (sweeping genealisation but based on a reasonable statistical sample), who regards all airline staff as still being in some form of medieval servitude. The M&M boards contain some outrageous examples of passenger behaviour that drift between disturbing and hysterical.

I still think that most BA passengers are generally a reserved and polite bunch.
