If you're an adult looking for an adult phone, the Storm2 will make you happy, especially if you travel across the globe. I've used my Storm in some fairly remote locations with little to no issues, aside from France where there telecom system is simply dreadful.

As other's suggest, go to the store and put the phone's in your hand and see which one you like. The new BB Torch is about to hit Verizon in October, you may want to hold off for that one, seems like it's a nice mix of the BB Storm and Apple I-Phone.

I've never warmed up to the Storm 2 although it's much better than the original (I've spent considerable time with both).

I've been using the BlackBerry Torch now for a bit and I think that jredknapp is spot on - it's a great mix of the iPhone and the Storm. (A thread about the Torch - started by me - is here.)
