ISSUE #1
On 12-07-2009 I used NWA.COM to buy a round trip ticket (leaving May 25 - returning May 29 - on KLM Cityhopper) between Amsterdam and Toulouse, France (Class V) I was NOT informed at the time that these flights would not receive Skymiles. When I complained to corporate I was told that as of March 19, 2010 no credit would be given for V class flights! Had I known that ahead of time, I would have bought a less expensive ticket on another carrier!

ISSUE #2

Using Delta.com, I bought an open jaw international ticket flying from DEN-MSP, MSP-AMS (On July 6, 2010) and returning MRS-AMS, AMS-MSP, MSP-DEN (On July 15). I have received Skymiles for all flights EXCEPT the MRS-AMS segment. I called to complain and was told that my MRS-AMS flight was class T and no Skymiles credit would be given for class T flights!
Even though Delta's Skyteam Partner site (http://skymilesoffers.delta.com/airline_partners.php )states clearly that Class T flights qualify for Skymiles

So it looks like Delta will happily sell you a ticket with international flights without any indication or warning that they are not going to give you Skymiles for those flights - at the same time that they widely advertise that you can earn miles on their airline partners!

I never had this problem on NWA!

I would love to hear any suggestions on how to handle the matter.

(BTW I am Silver Medallion and have over 410,000 actual flight miles on Delta/NWA! This is a FINE way to treat their elite customers. I am now looking into switching my allegiance (and money) to another airline)
Well, get informed and read the codes, etc., for miles on other SkyTeam Airlines. For example, there are restrictions on miles that can be awarded on KE.

The way to do this is to ALWAYS book DL seats on KL, AF, KE, etc. That way one ALWAYS receives MQMs.
