An unpopular suggestion .... I know ... but what's new! If it's simply miles or points don't read on ... but you've said you "normally do" and are thinking more intelligently!

I suggest you forget about Pisa completely. It's worth a short visit when passing through to take a picture of people posing in front of the tower. That is it. There IS nothing else.

Stay in Luca instead. You'll get a lovely atmospheric stay and Pisa is down the road.
