When you ask about "screening", you're asking about physical screening. But when he speaks about "screening", he's probably talking about background checks.
So, yes, the TSO you followed into the airport was "screened" (background checks). And since we know that background checks are absolutely perfect predictors of future behavior, there was no need for him to be "screened" (physical screening).
You just reminded me.......because of my job(s).......I've been fingerprinted and background check by the Department of Defense, FBI and even the Presidental Secret Service.
I'd be curious if the TSA have had their backgrounds investigated like mine have been?
Too bad I can't walk around with paperwork from those agencies that would basically say..........I'M TRUSTED
