To answer the Op's question, in maybe 10 TATL/TPAC UD trips I have not had this experience.
You are correct ^. Mini DG and myself have been invited into the 747 cockpit and were shown the bunk room

. The bunk room is on the opposite (left) side to the lavs...so no amount of banging on lav walls on the UD is going to wake up a sleeping pilot in the bunk room

. However, why would one want to do that? I prefer my pilots who are flying 14 hrs to be fully rested....let them sleep on their breaks in the bunk room please!
I prefer the UD and have done most of my TPAC flights on the UD. I have noticed maybe once or twice during flight that the toilets are blocked for the flight crew when I might have needed the lav. It is never MOST of the 14 hr flight, so it sounds like OP had a bad flight or the crew had upset tummies ..ouch! I just pop downstairs to the NEW C lav which is usually vacant, so to me, its never a big deal and I am asleep for MORE than half the flight anyway, so a bit of lav blocking here and there has never been an issue for me or Mini DG. We are just thrilled to be on the UD

.
If it was blocked purely for chatting reasons, then I would have just lined up in the aisle right behind them for the bathroom...they would have soon got the hint.
P.S Some of those elegant, smart, beautiful UA FA's are our friends...and they do exist
