Great find, but unless OP clears up what he wants, we will be unable to help! Transferring SPG points (which I assume is what OP has and that's why s/he wanted to keep the discussion in the SPG forum) to UA miles requires 2 *points for 1 UA mile. This may not fit OP as great redemption since he wants cheap award tickets, but on the other hand he cares less the value of each specific program. Not to forget that UA has severe starnet blocking which restricts OP's chance on redemption anyway.
