Where Asian carriers' crew include them as part of their duty to tidy up and sometimes clean the loos... I think you can blame it on the unions that say somewhere in the contracts that the FAs are there for your safety and taking a toilet brush to hand is not one of their duties.

Please... they hardly have time to even make you a proper cup of tea. I think it is way beneath them to even suggest that they stock another roll of loo paper by the potty.
