OK, if you have two "blockable" PAX sitting one seat apart, is the blocking "effect" doubled?

I realize these are sort of silly questions but isn't that what this forum is all about?

I'm just checking my res' on line and I'm trying to replace the image of the 300-lbs divine-look-alike sitting next to me with the soothing image of an empty seat.
