When do they give out World's Worst Airline Award?
The weather and the local people were the only positives with this 36-hour ordeal, but Air France must be the most dysfunctional airline there is in the Western world.
They dropped us off on the tarmac at the military base and more or less, we never saw the original crew again - they were only ever concerned about themselves, while letting 461 tired, frustrated travellers self-manage themselves (can you imagine that?).
24 hours after landing here, we are still waiting for them to get their act together and for us relying on connecting flights, we may or may not see our homes this week.
No phones, sporadic Internet, not a single store to buy anything and, again, complete lack of any management or coordination, even before we left Paris.
I tried suggesting they bring in 5-10 monkeys to replace the staff, let them do their thing without touching anything (staff should really only feed the monkeys in that case), but they wouldn't listen to me - so we are still stuck here.
