Most fare rules, at least internationally:
blah blah blah ... WAIVED FOR SCHEDULE CHANGE/ILLNESS OR DEATH OF PASSENGER OR FAMILY MEMBER. ... blah blah blah
SO, what does this mean? Doctor's note (everyone has a dr in the family

)? Show up at the airport two days later and say, sorry, I was sick, now please reaccomodate me? Anecdotes, anyone? People in the know?? I mean, it seems like this policy could be a great help, but I'm curious as to the potential hassles...
