Whenever I have had packages ship to a hotel I have always asked the sender to write "GUEST - ARRIVING AUGUST 11, 2010" on the second address line. If I was unsure which week it would arrive, I would always pick the later date and just ask the front desk if it arrived early. One of the hotels I stayed at recommended doing this.
