Thanks for the reply. Maybe there is hope! But for upgrades, if I had two people on my PNR, we wouldn't be treated individually for upgrades... right? So is it that I cna get an individual upgrade if there are >1 other person on the PNR, but if there are only two of us, we are both in the upgrade queue?
I don't want to make this thread about PNR splitting, but to satisfy your curiousity, it was booked by a travel agent and includes a return on Delta. So United said they couldn't split the PNR as it would affect Delta's system. I need to do it through our travel agency and they don't want to do it. Not worth the trouble really.
