Long story short, I am stuck in a 6-person PNR for a work trip. I am the only one with status.

I was able to call and get E+ seating for myself (it was painful), but I assumed that a complimentary upgrade was not going to happen, at least not until the airport.

However, OLCI today let me check only myself in (checkboxes for other pax). It showed me a window that it was requesting a complimentary upgrade for me when I checked in.

Is this possible to request an upgrade at check-in for only one passenger in the PNR? Or is .bomb just playing with my emotions
