An Air France flight from Paris to Montreal made an unexpected landing at Goose Bay, N. L., late Tuesday because of a systems failure on the plane.
The plane made the unscheduled landing as a safety precaution, an Air France spokesperson said in a media report. There was no panic on the plane, he said.
The 461 passengers and crew on the AF 344 flight received basic accomodations for the night at a Canadian Forces military base and the few hotels in the Goose Bay area.
