I'm planning to fly from CUN-SFO in early September on a Thursday evening, and I'm considering flying CO through IAH or AA through DFW. While the flight times are slightly better on the CO flight, it leaves a much shorter connection. (Both arrive at the hub around 7:30 PM.)

Am I better off taking a 2 hour connection in DFW on AA or a 1:24 connection in IAH on CO. If both seem reasonable, I'll take the CO flights.

I'm traveling on a non-US passport... so no short line for me.
