Reminds me of the holiday I took from Hong Kong to Mauritius last year. Flight operated by Air Mauritius. CX used to code-share many years back but not anymore. Going and coming back both full in J and Y. Surprisingly very few Hong Kong Chinese on the flights. A number of passengers connecting to different destinations (mainland China, Korea, Japan) and also expats living in Hong Kong. Also about half the passengers are Mauritians, though albeit the majority of them of Chinese heritage. Some were French citizens of Reunion, again a number of them of Chinese heritage.
