I did, we are waiting for a refund. We know that we could let the ticket go uncancelled but the rebooking fee (to use the credit within a year) is close to the same price and we are not sure if we would use the whole refund/credit in that year.
Chalk it up to a learned lesson. Don't book and then try to get another ticket/seat later.
