When another airline issues my BP, I always check with the connecting carrier to see if everything is ok with the BP, and it is always reissued.

NOTE that although I don't know particularly what happened with the "Also" above, but if AS has to reissue a ticket with partners, sometimes the reissued ticket numbers don't make it to the other carrier. Always be armed with your final ticket #s on your person.
