Interesting. I asked CTS to book me a Club Harbour Suite at MO Singapore (which are on the 19th floor). On arrival I was given a 13th floor Harbour Suite, and was offered the opportunity to pay for Club privileges.
Unfortunately I have no idea what sort of accommodation CTS actually booked for me, because Sabre® Virtually There® doesn't care to disclose that information - it just gives the room rate and size, and the rate type (e.g. "AMEX CENTURION"). So in this case, I have no idea if CTS just screwed up, if I paid a special Centurion rate, if MO actually downgraded me, or some combination of the above.
Another valuable feature of the Virtually Amazing Sabre® Virtually There® software is that is that I can no longer view my booking now that my trip is over. I think I can confidently say that I wasn't upgraded though.
