Apparently, Hilton does allow one other person to get the free brekfast.
This was unfortunate to discover during my stay at the Hyatt Regency Princeton and had to leave my fiancee out of joining me for breakfast because SHE didn't want me paying the $21 for a breakfast buffet for her. Instead I stole occasional fruit for her.
At other Hyatt's with the Grand Club, I could happily bring her with me. This doesn't seem a comparable approach to non-GC properties at all.
This is a screwy policy... anyone else encounter this or find ways around it?
I can't see them denying her the diamond breakfast if she's identified as an additional person in the room. I think for example people traveling with spouse and child staying in one room are able to get the diamond breakfast too without any problem
