I haven't seen any independent account of what happened. Why would you assume that the passenger is at fault? The FA obviously had a screw loose and maybe he pushed her over the edge.

Key points in that are that 1) the FA had a visible injury on his head so the story of him losing it cuz he got physically nailed is accurate and 2) no one on the flight was delayed/detained and the plane was at the gate meaning it wasn't a big safety issue and the passenger apparently got off scott free.
